First Visit Guide
What Concierge Care Actually Means
With Dr. Thon, you get more time, a real exam, and your imaging reviewed and explained in the same visit, not spread across three or four fragmented appointments the way it usually goes. No crowded waiting room. No rushed, impersonal visit where you leave with more questions than answers.
Before you even arrive, our team helps gather your medical history and records from your primary care provider or prior specialists, so you're not stuck re-explaining your case from scratch. Your appointment is scheduled with enough time to actually get through everything in one sitting: exam, imaging, and a real conversation about your options, not just a diagnosis and a rushed recommendation on your way out the door. Surgical patients get direct access to Dr. Thon throughout their care, so you're never left wondering what's next.
Why We Can Offer Same-Day and Next-Day Access
Most practices are structured around seeing as many patients as possible in a day, which means shorter visits and longer waits for anyone who needs more time. Orchard Orthopedics is built differently: Dr. Thon intentionally limits the number of patients he sees, so that same-day and next-day access doesn't come at the cost of a rushed visit once you're actually in the room.
What Your First Visit Actually Includes
- Full time with Dr. Thon personally, not rushed to hit a schedule
- A complete review of your imaging and medical history
- Help gathering records from your primary care provider or prior specialists, when needed
- A real, personalized plan before you leave, not just a diagnosis

If surgery is the right path, Dr. Thon will review your case and imaging with you in detail during that same visit, so you leave with a real plan, not just a referral to think it over.
